A 60 second video summary of downtown market conditions from January 2021.  

Condo and townhouse inventory and benchmark sale prices rose while sales volume dropped.  January had downtown in a "Seller's market" with the greatest demand for homes between $500K to $600K.  Homes were selling on average 2% below list price and in 32 days.

The Vancouver downtown condo and townhouse market remained “balanced” overall in November. When compared to October inventory was up by 11%, sales down by 1%, and sale prices down by 3%.

For 34 years, New York Sanitation worker, Nelson Molina collected items in the trash on his route in East Harlem. Over 45,000 items, all catalogued and organized on the second floor of the M11 garage. Nelson retired from the job in 2015, but comes to the garage routinely to check in on his "museum."

Coal Harbour bounces back as downtown market balances in August

August ended for the the Vancouver downtown condo market in overall “balanced” conditions. When compared to July inventory rose by 13%, sales decreased by 1%, and sale prices rose by 9%. Coal Harbour which had been stuck in a buyer’s market for a many many months finally saw a return in demands by buyers and increased sales activity.
